Seeking someone to help out with KGNU headlines on Mondays! Help research, write, edit, and/or voice headlines for production. No prior experience is required. You will be trained by the news department.
Schedule:
1 hour prior to Monday (Fri/Sat/Sun), to research and write headlines. After training, this can be done remotely or in person, at a time of day that works for you.
1.5 hours each Monday morning from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m., to add any breaking news, voice headlines on the Morning Magazine, and edit the audio for web and afternoon broadcast.
Total: 2-2.5 hrs/week
** Monday's Morning Magazine is currently being broadcast from the Denver studio, not Boulder. There are several options: A) you could come into the Denver studio on Monday mornings to voice headlines, B) you could just research/write, not voice, headlines, C) if you are experienced with the board, you could do headlines live from Boulder and hand off to the Morning Magazine host in Denver, or D) you could pre-record headlines over the weekend or before 7:30 a.m. Monday.
