KGNU’s Summer Fund Drive is powered by our community, and that includes the volunteers who answer the phones and take donations. We’re looking for focused, friendly volunteers to fill phone shifts during the week of the drive.
This is not telemarketing. You're not calling anyone. You're picking up the phone when someone chooses to support the station because they just heard a message that moved them.
Being on the phones means you're on the front lines of the community connection. Each call is proof that local, independent radio still matters—and you get to see that support in real time.
Available shifts each day (July 8–13):
6:45 AM – 9:45 AM
9:45 AM – 12:15 PM
12:15 PM – 3:15 PM
3:15 PM – 5:45 PM
5:45 PM – 7:15 PM
Sign up for one shift or more. We’ll provide training, snacks, and support—just bring your attention and energy.
