This training led by Rocky Mountain Community Radio Managing Editor (and former KGNU News Director) Maeve Conran will be about writing radio scripts.
This will focus on writing scripts for fully-produced, short news features, and will cover things like:
- how to structure your script with tracks/acts/ambi
- how to write host banners/intros/outros
- finding a story’s focus
- rhythm/pace/flow
- how to structure sentences and choose
language
and more.
Please note this will be an in-person training at our Community Media & Cultural Center at 1720 14th St! Come prepared to start right at 6. No need to bring anything but yourself, and a way to take notes if you wish.
