Join us for a fun and meaningful morning of connection, coffee, and community as we welcome commuters during Bike to Work Day. Volunteers will help us run a simple but special hospitality station designed to make people feel appreciated and energized.
Volunteer Tasks Include:

Helping prepare and serve easy café beverages (iced chai and coconut matcha, with recipe cards provided)

Assisting with our waffle station (just flipping waffles and keeping the grab-and-go tray stocked)

Refreshing food platters, refilling cups, and maintaining a welcoming table

Engaging with community members and sharing what KGNU is all about (great for long-time listeners or volunteers who love talking about the station)
No setup or tech assistance needed. The tables, signage, and sound system will be fully set up before volunteers arrive. We just need warm, capable hands to help serve and connect.
Bonus:
If you have bike repair skills or knowledge, we’d love to have a small "Bike Shop" station where you can assist commuters with light questions or adjustments. Just let us know when you sign up if this is your thing.
Optional Contributions (if you’d like to bring something):

Fresh fruit (pre-cut or easy to prep in the morning)

Grab-and-go items like deviled eggs, granola bars, pastries, or baked goods

Bagel toppings such as cream cheese, hummus, or sliced veggies

Specialty juice or creamers for coffee

Extra aluminum pans with lids to help with food prep and transport
